6 Best and 4 WORST Places to Pick Up Girls

Hey guys!

Today I’ll outline the four worst, two limbo, plus six best places to pick up girls.

This list is for the general reader, and the venues aren’t a specific level of difficulty.

Of course, if you’re already cut your teeth in one type of venue and have more experience there, your mileage may vary.

 

#4 Worst Venue: Dance Clubs

LOUD NOISES! This almost got caught in limbo (see below) with gyms because of the sheer number of lays I’ve had from dance venues. HOWEVER, I considered the volume of women I’ve approached in dance venues vs. lays and quickly reconsidered.

It’s a great venue to begin training to get over the fear of approaching. You can learn to socialize. However, for hardcore marathons trying to get laid or practicing your game, these as places to pick up girls suck for the inexperienced.

We aren’t talking highly specialized game or learning to open comfortably; we are talking difficulty level.

Why is game difficult in dance clubs? The reasons are many and not limited to:

1. The sheer noise makes learning verbal game difficult

2. This in turn moves into an instant knee-jerk response. Many guys who try to learn game in dance clubs become disillusioned and start believing looks are all that matters

3. The dance factor requires its own skillset for you to not look like a doofus (tip: the less you move your arms, the less stupid you look)

4. Many women feel entitled to be nasty and rude in these venues

5. Chaos abounds. As I always say, I’ve never lost a woman because the grocery store caught on fire in the middle of my approach. I HAVE in dance clubs

Quick Tip: Getting a chick off the dance floor and into a quieter area like the smoking lounge or casino, or wherever you can TALK can be achieved with a curiosity gambit easily. While dancing, yell in her ear, “Hey, you know who you look like?” “It’s too noisy in here; I’ll tell you out on the patio,” then lead her by the hand off the dance floor.

 

#3 Worst Venue: Street/Sidewalk Game

The dynamic of approaching people on busy sidewalks is always terrible. MANY students — I am talking droves — want to learn the game this way because of the sheer number of women they can find to practice on in a short amount of time. And that’s all well and good purely as an exercise to get over your approach anxiety, trying to get some contact closes, and moving on.

When approaching on sidewalks and crowded, busy areas, you come off like a beggar, street vendor, or hustler. You end up walking along with her, making her feel like she is trying to get away from you.

I like day game to be less running around and more casual as I go about my business. Posting up and hunting a sidewalk is just terrible.

Quick Tip: If you are going to do this, you’ll need to stop her and not walk with her. As she is walking toward you, don’t try to stop her yet. Open over your shoulder to the side as she passes. Then, do some footwork around the other way where she can’t turn her head, forcing her to turn her body away from the direction she was going and toward you. It helps a TON in easing the “bothering me” vibe. It prevents the “walking with her like a salesman” vibe and puts her destination out of sight and out of mind.

 

#2 Worst Venue: Strip Clubs

The only way this works as a place to pick up women is to frame yourself not as a customer, stay away from the stage, don’t buy any lap dances, and ask her about herself, her trials and tribulations.

Even if you don’t spend any money and can get her talking, dancers are incredibly hard to sexually vibe with because they are, for the most part, sexually shut off, often from prostituting on the side.

Emotionally stimulating her within the time constraints and in comparison to her usually dramatic lifestyle is tough.

So, you have to attack it from a purely social frame angle.

Tell her you have dated dancers before and that it didn’t work out because of too much drama. You can also tell her your dancer girlfriend seemed to be closed off sexually unless there was a lot of drama. How convincing chumps she was into them made it hard for her to be sexual at times. She knows this is true and will qualify to you that it isn’t true of her like clockwork. This gets her social frame going as if she is into you.

That’s just to grab one as a girlfriend; you aren’t going to come in and be plucking off a whole club without it being noticed by girl ONE and having her create drama.

Quick Tip: “You’re not going to get laid, but you are going to get screwed.”

Get some fairly strong game and a black heart before you try any of this nonsense.

 

#1 Worst Venue: Public Transportation

A caveat here: I have never really fleshed out public transport as a pick up girls spot, with the obvious social frame and logistical problems making it SO crappy I have steered clear for long periods.

The West Coast USA stigma to using buses and such that you’re broke or poor is an instant turn-off social frame-wise. It’s like gaming with a timer, so you almost HAVE to contact close rather than same-day lay. The sheer chaos of most large city transit systems puts in bizarre obstacles that even a loud dance club can’t accomplish.

The times I have done bus game, it’s full of crazy people and disruptions. Women can get panicky because they are used to being engaged by crazies and drunks.

Quick Tip: If you MUST have her, quick flirt, then get a contact close. Then get off the train and duck into a Macy’s. Do some concentrated, consistent, and mastery-oriented game.

 

Limbo Venue #1: The Gym

The TRUE “what you make of it” venue.

The gym comes in my least favorite of the good places to pick up at but surely doesn’t land in the worst. It’s mainly because you can find fit women and see their bodies easier than in other places. Often when you see this style of chick in a grocery store, they just look skinny and have fake tits.

Quick Tip: You don’t have to be on her “fitness level” to game highly fit women in the gym. These types of women are usually looking for a suitcase pimp, almost like porn women want. They are focused on their fitness, modeling, or sport; some may be strippers with busy careers and tours on the road. Many want a guy who can convey that he has wisdom and insight into this, FAR more than they want an equally hot physique to shack up with. They’ve had plenty of that and have gotten it out of their system. You having a little spare tire and a lot of interest in HER and her career, and then conveying that you have intuition and wisdom to manage and help her with her lifestyle goes WAY further than thinking you have to match up at a fitness level.

 

Limbo Venue #2: The Workplace

The big “Do I crap where I eat?”

“Is there chemistry or not?”

“Is this sexual harassment?”

Again, it’s one hundred percent what you make of it.

I’ve known of marriages and firings from workplaces both based on an approach.

Quick Tip: “Never touch the coworkers; let the coworkers touch you!” Seriously, it depends on how much you need that job and how easily you can replace that income. I advise REALLY long game, totally non-verbal flirting, and let her ask you out, which probably isn’t going to happen before you get friend-zoned.

 

#6 Best Venue: Daily Routine Venues

I classify these as:

• Department stores
• Grocery stores
• Malls
• Shopping centers
• The bank
• The post office
• The deli

Typical places you see women standing around. These locations were my old bread and butter; they are where I learned day game. Even now, I approach MOSTLY in these venues. I like day game to be less running around like a chicken with my head cut off, and more casual as I go about my day and see a woman I want. However, one CAN “hunt” in these venues, too. You will have to wait in between approaches, sometimes an hour, sometimes two minutes. I developed “okay” skill levels in my early days in these venues.

This isn’t a list of easy to difficult for me, or shopping areas would be the #1 place to pick up girls. The difficulty level goes up with less experience and skill.

Quick Tip: I like to be keenly aware of a venue nearby to pull her to for sitting down, and there’s usually a coffee shop or restaurant there.

Having someplace to suggest to sit down and talk is crucial at some point. You can’t stand there talking for too long. Plus, moving a girl gets her investing and compliant. Being aware of a place to get off your feet and talking close by at any given time as a pickup artist is the same as knowing where the exits are first in a building as a bodyguard. The exits are not a bad thing to note as a pickup artist either, but I digress.

 

#5 Best Venue: Quiet Lounges and Bars

Lounges and bars contain a good mix of women vs. chaos. Women are made up to show off their best assets, they drink and loosen up, and it’s perfectly okay to talk to them without having much confidence in your game. Women bring along obstacles, cockblocks, and man-friends.

Learn the pickup game. Almost all systems and methods are tailored to these places by the better pickup artists around. Some guys, like me, have done lots of venues and have been around a long time. Most guys do this style of game.

Quick Tip: These quiet lounges and bars are the best places to pick up girls in casinos too, vs. the loud clubs they might offer inside.

 

#4 Best Venue: Outdoor Relaxation Areas

• The beach
• The lake
• The park

Outdoor relaxation areas are always great, especially with a wingman.

Hunting girls in the daytime with a wing can be weird because ideally, you’d like a lone girl since, in those instances, you’re halfway to getting her HOME with you alone already.

Usually, the best wingman is just an obstacle in wait, and a bad one will make himself an obstacle in short order.

However, at the beach, a park, or the lake, you can go with a friend or two, bring a Frisbee, or a golf putter and ball. This way, you suck groups of girls in, then go out with them for drinks after. Depending on the vibe of the place, you might be able to have some drinks then and there. Instant party.

Quick Tip: If you do go alone, it’s fine; try to keep it to lone women if you are trying for a same-day lay. If you approach multiple women, especially two women, and it’s just you, it’s best to get a contact close and move on unless the other girl is really engaging you, or they both seem to be having a great time.

 

#3 Best Venue: Festivals

• Concerts
• County fairs
• The Vegas Strip
• Fremont Street
• Theme parks

Anything outdoors with lots of people who don’t have to be anywhere, who are having fun and feel like it’s okay to be social, is self-explanatorily awesome. The only complaint is, they don’t happen often enough, or they would be number one, and the world would be a much more amazing place.

Quick Tip: If you do any dancing monkey-style entertainer-vibe type of game, this isn‘t the place for it. You want to convey that you are an “add-on fun.” You want to have fun with her taking in THE PLACE, project sexuality non-verbally, and SHUT UP. Even if you have good verbal game or great dancing monkey game, you can’t compete with the place. So don’t even try. What you CAN be is her add-on, her “D” for the night for later; anything else is you being a pest and ruining the good time.

 

#2 Best Venue: Hotel Lounges

Hotel lounges and bars are GOLD for alone, bored women traveling on business, with a place to have sex in minutes with no accountability to friends, family, not even strangers who might recognize them later around their city. It’s untapped gold by most pickup artists.

Quick Tip 1: The best access to hotel bars and lounges is via an adjoining restaurant. You can have a meal, hell, a quick appetizer if the place is expensive. Then move it over to the lounge with plausible deniability camouflaging you are in there for the hunt.

Otherwise, knowing someone who works in the lounge goes a LONG way.

Quick Tip 2: Stay away from the bar except to get drinks. This acts like a pre-approach; see “Attention Grabs (to Elicit Approach Invitations).” Then, you want to use VERY non-sexual game verbally, not even covertly introduced. If you don’t know the bartender, and you move from “chatting with people” to “oh, he’s trying to get laid,” you’ll get kicked out. You need a varied arsenal of ways to start a chat, so stay soberish until you pull back to a table or away from scrutiny, and, if you want full immunity, TIP WELL.

 

#1 Best Venue: Parties/Social Circle Gatherings

The screw it all venue, the shooting fish in a barrel venue: PARTIES!

Almost no explanation is needed, but lots of preparation helps.

The downside to parties: unless you are making them happen, you are at the mercy of whoever is. Not only that, you are at the mercy of your social circle and getting a reputation as a player, creating rifts between women in the social circle, etc.

However, you are so socially “in” instantly that even with large parties, your game can be fairly pedestrian, and you’ll still get good results.

That can be a caveat for new guys trying to learn cold approach game, though.

“Calm seas do not make good sailors.”

The canned hunt of parties, the easy effort to lays, can let skills get rusty or not be built. Many house party, frat party, or social circle “hook-up artists” find themselves at a loss when they try to learn cold approach because the dynamics are so different.

Quick Tip: Have a couple of sex rooms established among the guys, and if you aren’t one of the guys (if you are new to the social circle), scope the place out for places to screw girls AT THE PARTY. Depending on the place’s size and the class of people, you don’t always have to pull her from the venue. I’ve had many a quickie in:

• An upstairs bedroom
• My car
• Her car
• A basement
• A garage

Scoping this out is important because if it’s a killer party, people usually don’t want to leave. If it isn’t a killer party, they won’t stay long enough to meet anyone. They might want to have sex then go right back to the party. I’ll even use that language if things are getting hot: “Hey, quick, let’s duck in here.” The “quick” indicates just that; a quickie vs. “Hey, let’s catch an Uber” means it’s over.

Overall, though — the venue you have the most practice with should work best with your system of doing things. That’s the pie in the sky ideal, though.

There are many factors to consider:

• Your style

• How everything intertwines with the venue
