pick up girls broke
No woman wants to be with a broke guy. Or does she? With a few adjustments, it's easy to do fine with girls, even when you're broke.

In my recent article on limiting beliefs, a reader named Dr. Klas asked:

"Hey Chase,
Thanks for the article — very in-depth as always.
Now, I have this limiting belief “When I’m broke, I can’t get a girl”. Since you haven’t really written an article on how to get a girl when broke can you please address this issue.

I find that I’m usually depressed when I’m broke and I just close off — or reject myself even if a girl likes me. But when I’ve got cash, I do a whole lot better. Is it a matter of self-esteem?

I don’t know why this is or what to do to prevent this. Should I just tell girls “Hey, I’m having a hard time at the moment” or “I’m broke, I can’t do X”.

What should be our response and behavior towards women when we are broke? I think a lot of guys will appreciate this."

Okay, sure. This is something I've talked about a bit in the past -- picking up girls when broke or unemployed -- but haven't gone in-depth on.

It actually is pretty closely related to the limiting beliefs concept too, because a lot of what seems to hold men back from doing well with women when broke are limiting beliefs (like Dr. Klas's).

One reason I haven't gone as in-depth into this topic before is because there are multiple routes to 'broke'. One is to start out not-broke, then end up broke, which was my route there. The other way is to start out broke and just always have been broke. I don't have experience with the second route, though I've known guys who have been that and have done quite well with women. I can talk intelligently about the first route though -- and I'll try to make the points there as applicable to the guys who get there via the 'started broke' route as possible too.

Thanks so much, Chase for this article. One of my best, if not the best. I’ll come back to it for reference.

This has just skyrocketed my confidence level. It was the big last piece I needed to complete the puzzle.

You’re right, I look beaten and defeated when broke. It never worked out that way. I’m in the

“start out not-broke, then end up broke” category. I guess this happens often to people in this category. Since I know guys that started out broke and are still pretty much broke but do well with women.

What I understood especially was “You Need to be Edgy When Broke” and just saying “I’m unemployed” is sufficient.

Fundamentals haven’t really been an issue for me.

You’re right, I realize women treat me more as a boyfriend material when I spend money or do activities that involve spending money.

Another thing I realize is that this ‘I’m broke, I’m not enough” mentality comes especially when dealing with young girls/women but with older women, it’s limited.

Maybe it’s because young women assess your value way more than older women do.

Thanks again for addressing this issue!

Happy New Year Chase!

Best wishes for you and your business! :)

Thank you for this article as well. It is super useful given my situation.

I recall reading somewhere on the site about how to answer objections when she says "I only date men who are X"

such as "I only date men who are (race that isn't your race)" or "I only date men who are older / younger or whatever it may be. Have you addressed this before or am I going crazy? :)

Thanks,

Lawliet

Hey!! I like my $250 sneakers thank you very much!! Seriously tho is that a big deal? That's my style.

1. So what would be decent successes to tell women when men are your age? What could be the easiest successes to obtain that women would still like at your age?

Could we also lie?

2. What would be the age range for these tips? Would women still want to sleep with a man in his 30s living in a crummy room that's unemployed? You said once you get to your age you have to show some success, but being unemployed and living in a crummy room to me seems it wouldn't work. But if it does please explain how.

3. What clubs let you get in for free? Majority of clubs I've been to have cover.

4. Can men 30 and up take women on these dates in the article and for it not to look weird? And how old would these girls be? Girls from mid 20s and up would like dates like those? And do we still not pay for them?

Thanks
