"Can you get me a glass of water?" she asked me. "Please?" She gave me big, dewy doe eyes, and her cutest, most charming pursed lips.
"It's over there," I said playfully, pointing to the water cooler. "You can get it yourself."
"Oh!" she exclaimed in mock frustration, getting up to go get herself more water.
Does it offend your sensibilities that I told her to do that? It might offend some people's. How can a guy be so cold as to not even go and get a girl a glass of water? they think.
But it isn't about being cold. It's about returning to the basics of sprezzatura and the Law of Least Effort; it's about understanding that the men who supplicate -- the men who kiss up -- the men who try to impress women -- those men end up holding the bag.
It's about understanding what women are really attracted to... and what causes them to lose that attraction. And it's about understanding that where the line is, and how much is too much when it comes to doing for women.

Seriously, this site is amazingly insiteful and whenever i'm feeling a bit down or depressed I can always look here for great advice not only on getting with women but also for how to have a positive outlook on life. I think that combined with your writing style that's easy to connect to makes everything here some much more applicable to me. Oh, and some of the words you muster up - (how do you possibly find a word like egad in the first place, and then actually find a use for it somewhere that isn't a scrabble game? Truly incredible.) Just wanted to say great work and to keep it coming!
Proof Read
I agreed to proof read the other day and didn't think to turn her down.
How would you suggest turning a girl down who requested that? She was foreign so English wasn't her first language, if that makes any difference?

Buddy of mine is a bigtime supplicator, I opened his eyes to this and can't resist posting a text convo he showed me after he decided enough was enough with a girl who has him on the hook hard:
(she had just called him while he was at the gym)
Him: Hey hey! @ the gym--call me later!
Her: You can call me when you're free.
Him: Ah yes that's very true. But it's also very true that you can call me later :)
Her: Yep. But you're the one that knows when you're free. Amazing, it can be that easy.
Him: But you're the one who know when you'll wanna talk next AND knows when you're free. Even easier.
Her: What are you trying to achieve here?
Him: About 20 more pounds of fat loss, with about 10-15 more of muscle gain. What about you?
I just about died. I think it's safe to say the kid's making some progress!

This is true! Even she is your wife or girl friend. If she's your women always ask for something back. Say if I DL you know that "thing" I like??? It could be anything from a dinner you love her to make , to you personally like in the bedroom. If you don't know how much or at all the man who wrote this article pretty much broke it all down.

What about emotional supplication. The woman is asking to be cared about, understood, getting attention and empathy for her emotions on a high frequency basis. Where to draw the line? How much to go with it?
