I will play the role of skeptic here, as I have a few concerns about the concept. Mainly that I believe a lot of guys are taking on the mindset but not understanding how to use it properly to get results. Instead, they’re using the mindset as more of a cop out.
Nevertheless, I believe the mindset is well-intended. If the underlying mechanism is understood, it can make you appear cool and not needy.

Game is very similar to sales in so many ways. No matter how good you present yourself, how little you pressure potential customers to buy, you need to close deals and MAKE ACTUAL SALES. Like in sales, you screen potential customers, you screen potential women to fuck. Not everyone is going to buy your product, not every girl is going to fuck you. That's okay. You follow up on potential customers without bugging them, with women, not looking needy. You need to screen people quickly so you can cut your losses early. Don't take it personally if someone doesn't want to do business with you. See it as a learning experience. Move on and continue to improve your skill set.
And you need to apply this concept in many aspects of your life. Be result oriented. You won't always get results, that's fine. Move on quickly to another girl while improving.
Basketball is also a great analogy explaining game. Shooting the ball in the basket is the equivalent of getting results. You need to make a shot before the shot clock expires (Attraction has an expiration date). And no matter how good you are in basketball, not all of your shot will go in. I also agree that there are many similare aspects to sales in pick up. I also agree with the idea of screening, although there is a lot of room for disagreements regarding how low the bar should go in regards to compliance and logistics before one should screen one out. Sometimes guy give up too easily, on girls they could have gotten.
