The seduction community has its share of critics who portray pickup artists as unnatural and manipulative. Here’s why we don’t see it that way.
Remember that classic line from the movie Fight Club? What was the first rule? Oh yeah, don’t talk about Fight Club. And in that movie, almost everyone broke the rule.
The result? The ranks exploded, and they were branded a terrorist organization.
When I first got into pickup, I joined a men’s pickup artist group called the Montreal Lair. It was run by a guy named Cliff who was made Internet-famous by that book The Game. He made me sign a non-disclosure agreement, promising not to talk about the group. “Media has infiltrated us before. We need to protect the identity of our members,” he told me.
Since then pickup artistry has gone mainstream.
Now YouTubers have in-field videos with millions of views. Books on the subject have sold millions of copies, and websites like Girls Chase get millions of readers per month. Yet we hide.

Good read
Hey tony gotta say this is a great article! It's good for putting men at ease about what they do if they practice seduction and pickup. Because there's a lot of cultural and societal pressures constantly working against men in this community because the media they doesnt wanna promote things which may lead to worse outcomes such as harassment, stalking or violence. But most guys know to leave a girl alone if she's not interested. It sucks that a lot of this material you can't really discuss among your friends or peers because they will judge you and scrutinize you for doing all of this. Only thing you can do is make this knowledge work in your favor and use it as an advantage over other men. Also you got some good writing humor. Waiting for fate to give us a girlfriend at the thanksgiving staff party xD. I think this is what mainstream media thinks we should do.
