Today’s topic will be more relevant for those of you who live in cold areas, where the winters are harsh. I’ve found this info to be very useful for me in Scandinavia, but I have heard that even in warmer areas, what I am about to say is still valid.

This article is about how to meet girls and seduce them during winter time. Winters are undeniably harder to deal with than summer or spring when it comes to meeting women (I happen to love autumn). In a post from last year, I wrote about why winter time is the toughest season to deal with. Some of the reasons:

All this makes it harder for men to meet girls in the winter. The nightlife venues are deader in the winter – people don’t go out, which affects the dynamic of the venue, and not in a good way.
Because of all this, you could try more day game, but in the cold, it is not usually a good call.
The online game remains more stable although you will find fewer horny girls online. Additionally, for anyone who is not a superb looking guy, the online game is crap. The quality of women you will meet in real life will always be superior, especially if you have game.
For all the reasons above, I still prefer sticking to night game, even in the winter, despite it being harder.
So here is a guide on how to maximize your success with night game during the winter season.
State Control
Your baseline state will weaken in the winter. Your sex drive will be low, and your mood will be crappy. It is key to maintain a decent overall baseline state when going out in the winter.
But on a positive note, all other guys will most likely be in a crappy mood, too. So if you can fix your state so that you are in a better mood than every other guy in the venue, you may score some points.
Here is what I suggest:

The usual – eat healthy and work out
Make sure you take D-vitamins. Really! Vitamin D deficiency is not uncommon in the winter. A lack of vitamin D will impact your mood drastically.
Eat a bunch of stuff like this. Pills work, too.
Venue Selection
Because fewer people will be heading out, the overall nightlife will be less vibrant. On the worst days, when it is dark, wet, and cold, you can expect very few people going out. Keep this in mind.
Many of the clubs that were crowded during the summer or are known summer venues may only be half-full or dead during the winter.
Fancy places also tend to die off during the winter – the same with those so-called “cool venues.”
In other words, you will have fewer venues to choose from during the winter. I suggest you stick to “safe” venues – i.e., the venues that are always filled. In most cities, there are clubs that are always frequented by people. These are places you should consider.
Smaller Venues
Focusing on smaller venues is a better call because they are easier to deal with overall. Why is that?

It’s easier to handle wildcards, as they are smaller and less chaotic, you are more aware of what is going on, and you are more in control over the crowd.

Women are less defensive and less likely to stick to each other (easier for isolation) since it is harder to get lost in a small venue than a big one. Also, they are less intimidating. Consider that women have lower sex drives in the winter; you surely do not want to add a defensive layer on top of it.

Small venues are more intimate and therefore have a more open vibe. This is key because people’s baseline state is lower. So if the venue can make them more open and social, that is very much needed!

Smaller venues tend to have cheaper booze. Not only is this good, but it helps help people loosen up more – and you need that to happen.

It’s easier to build social proof when the venue is small.
So smaller venues that preferably have a fun and sexual vibe are my go-to places during the winter.
If you have areas where you can “kind of” talk inside, that is good, too. Outdoor smoking areas are often a waste of time during winter unless they are heated. Clubs with lounge areas, although uncommon where I live, are still doable.
Pickup and Winter
Picking up women is the same in the winter as in the summer, but there are certain small tweaks and things to pay extra attention to.
It is harder to pick up girls in the winter, but it is totally worth it, as those who practice in the winter not only get to have more fun winters, but they also become better seducers for the summer to come since they have practiced in tough conditions. Therefore, I remain active in the winter.
Perfect Executions
A clear reason for why practicing in the winter is good is because not as many women are going out looking to hook up, since their drives are already deadly low. They are not in that crazed-out mood nor even feeling social.
This means that you will not get much for free when interacting with women. Compared to the summer, you will not have freebies or girls who are into you or horny from the get-go. You will not get lucky nearly as often. There may be exceptions such as women feeling the effects of cuffing season, but very cold and dreary winters can counter those effects.
What you get depends on the work you put into it and how well-executed your game is. You will not get away with stuff, so basically, if you fail, you lose.
The way you make sure your execution is good is by working on and revising your fundamentals (and yes, even veterans get rusty!).
Pay special attention to logistics. You cannot screw up by forgetting to set the right frames. Her friends need to be taken care of – you need to isolate – or else you will get nowhere. You need to try to go for the pull, or else you will have an afterparty with your favorite hand. She will not make a move.
You need to handle her tests properly and maintain your head. You must escalate the vibe. Fail to do this and you will go home alone. I am not here to demotivate you, because the truth is, it will get easier when spring arrives.
Look at it this way, master those things during the winter and become a true master in summer. There is a huge reward waiting on the other side. Remind yourself of this to keep your spirits up.
Women do love sex. And yes, women do want to hook up with guys, but only when they “feel” like it, i.e., when their emotions tell them so.
Or put it another way: “women love sex when they are horny and dislike sex when they are not.”
When you meet them in the field, assume that they are at the lowest level of horniness and you must build up everything from scratch. You get nothing for free, no free high-baseline horniness on her side working for you.
And she does not need any excuses to leave you. You will notice that in the winter you will not get away with anything. One wrong remark and you are most likely out. Fail to escalate and make a move? You are out. Fail to pass a test, and you are also out. Solid game is required.
But there is a caveat here.
Boldness Is Key
Many believe that “perfect game” or “perfect execution” means going all-risk averse and not making a move. Wrong. I get your logic if you think that is the right call, but it is not.
Playing the passive approach is not the same as perfect execution, because it simply does not work during the winter. Being too passive doesn’t even work during the summer, to be honest.
When I say perfect execution, many guys believe that it is all about being smooth and avoid triggering any negative reaction in a girl. The problem – there will not be any tension in your interaction if that is the way you proceed.
As I mentioned earlier, women do not feel as horny during the winter. What does this mean? It obviously means that it is imperative that you make her horny.
And how will you do exactly that without being a bit bold?
You cannot.
But let us take it a step further. Remember that women feel almost no horniness during the winter. They simply do not give a damn about your dick.
Therefore, your sales technique has to be more aggressive. I am not saying you should openly be uncalibrated, but try to play around with being a bit bolder than you usually are. The time for smoothness is the summer. Winters – in comparison – are rough.
