I always pass by a few when I'm on a bike ride or a walk. It's a suburb setting not the city so usually it's just girls running solo or with a few friends.

One point of clarification. I totally understand why you listed concerts as a bad venue, but starting next month, I'll have backstage access to some very large names in the music world (Touring with them, shooting their shows, hanging out with them, etc.). Would this perhaps be a situation where concerts could actually work to my advantage? I had heard some stories (perhaps here? I don't remember) about people traveling with artists and DJs leveraging their access into social proof and SNLs, especially with hotels/tour buses nearby. Do you think those mitigating factors would be enough to shift things in my favor as far as concerts go, or will I still be fighting an uphill battle?

Off-topic but it's on of your favourites: Tinder.
Like most guys, I was rather peeved when Tinder started charging and capping its functionality for non-paid-up-users. But I recently bit the rather inexpensive bullet ($20 per month wont break the bank for men 30+) and could not be more happy with my decision.
If you adhere to the profile fundamentals (engaging photos and description etc.) that you put forth in your e-book the Tinder world is now your oyster. This is because I believe the male user population will shrink (and possible already has shrunk) drastically while female usage has and will remain constant. I'm of this view because men are very swipe-happy while women (in the absence of validation seekers) to my knowledge tend to be more swipe-conscious (rendering a 100 swipe per day cap somewhat meaningless to them).
Therefore, with less male competition Tinder should become the first dating app to truly reflect the real world social scene of 50/50 between the sexes (as opposed to the roughly 70/30 split for other dating apps). With great fundamentals, guys will see a spike in their Tinder success (even if they were already killing it) in the same manner as when they first started using sexy stubble or the brilliant soapless shower.
All this being said, I do believe we're in a time period where lots of guys will drop off Tinder rapidly, refusing to pay as some form of phyrric protest. However some, many perhaps, of these guys will get back on the app soon when they realise their abundance has turned to famine. So I encourage all of you to pay-up and take advantage of this unique period in time when the Tinder gender-balance has never been more in our favour.
One more thing: the location changing function is brilliant. I'm hitting San Diego (a historically hit-and-miss place for me to pull given the fact I'm not a bro presents huge attainability issues I don't intend on camouflaging) this weekend and I've already got my dates sorted from afar.
