Quick announcement. I’ve agreed to supervise a contest my old pal (“Black Dragon” from the old mASF seduction community boards, if you ever used to frequent there) is running to select the best online dating profile.

Winner gets a $200 pot – and there’re going to be two winners.

How come? Because BD’s running the contest with two sets of judges – one made up of women ages 18 to 32, and the other women ages 33 to 49.

It’s possible that if your profile is BLAZING good, you may win BOTH pots – a cool $400. There’s your car payment for the next month or two (or a two-year subscription to Girls Chase!).

Since I don't want to appear biased in deciding, but also since I personally have 3x as many articles on here this year as everyone else combined, I've decided to split a "Best of 2013" list into two lists - 17 of the best articles by our other authors out of the 58 they've written, and 32 of the best articles out of the 167 I've put out. I tried to narrow it down more than this, but this is about as whittled down as I could get this list - descriptions for each article follow links, to help you choose what to read right now.

Unless you've read everything on here as it's come out, you're likely to find at least a couple of gems in here you haven't yet read - and even if you have, there are probably a few you'll have forgotten about, but will be happy to stumble across once more.

Quick note on some of our new writers joining the site, plus a better way to search for a specific author's articles.

As I'd hoped the new business model would allow us to do here, we've been able to begin bringing new writers on the team the past few months. The new additions have included Colt, who'd done some writing with GC in the past and is now here on a regular basis, and Peter, a friend of mine who specializes in social circle and kicked off his stint here with a great series on the topic.

There's nothing worse than planning a vacation or a semi-permanent change of locales, only to get there and find you've picked a spot that's no-go for meeting attractive new women: either there aren't many attractive young women, or the women who are there are closed to meeting new people / foreign men.

Therefore, to assist with your trip planning in 2013, we've put together a list - part shrewd detective work, part advice from several sources that will go unnamed - of the top seven (7) travel destinations in 2013 for men looking to meet new women.

I'm pleased to announce after what seemed like interminable months of work (and a week of 18-hour days this past week with very little sleep), we've at last, somewhat behind deadline, completed updating GirlsChase.com to bring the site into the 20-teens.

My hat's off to everyone for putting in a big push at the end, and an extra special thanks to Mike from Greece, our guy on the IT end who built a custom metered paywall system for us after half the paywall companies wanted an ungodly chunk of subscription revenues and the other half simply didn't bother responding to customer inquiries. Mike, you're a life saver, and a hell of a coder.

I'll be back to writing posts and responding to comments and interacting on the boards again in a day or two... I'll grab a little rest and pay off a bit of my sleep debt and be back here before you know it.

In the meantime, have a look around the new site - I hope you'll find it cleaner, simpler to use and navigate around, and an overall more welcoming and usable experience than the previous version of the site was.
