This post is fit for everyone practicing cold approach pick up (the most exciting form of pick up, in my opinion).
I have in the past already discussed social momentum quite a few times already. Today we will also discuss momentum, but look at it from a different perspective: from a macro perspective.
Social momentum (micro) - discussed previously - covered how you felt; your emotional state when out meeting women. Positive social momentum could help one get laid, as he will not only feel more like interacting with strangers, but also be more comfortable doing so. When you have (micro) social momentum, you feel like an unbeatable god, as you:

Approach more women, feeling on fire

Have bigger balls and are bold in your approach, as you don't really care all that much about rejections

You will in many cases be more high energy and hook more girls (as you will come across as more exciting) - the pitfall here is that you will have to tone it down when getting into "seduction mode" (unless you want to end up being perceived as a dancing monkey)

You will feel more confident

Very well written article Alek, especially with how it relates to progression and growth in game rather than just stating the obvious things about dry spells.
I got out of a long term relationship two months ago and it was the worst emotional experience of my life. Even after some time, pushing myself to go out, comparing girls to my ex, and generally giving girls an off-putting vibe of judging them and acting like a boyfriend were some of my challenges. Also the fact that I had become rusty due to not pulling women for over a year simply added to the difficulty.
Anyways, I've made out with many girls, brought home 3 of them and have managed to sleep with none so far. I always keep failing to pull the trigger when I bring them home. Sometimes when I look back I feel like screaming and throwing my computer screen out of the window because I am angry at the weak version of myself that fears an awkward moment or a rejection when going for a kiss on my bed.
But just like before, I will keep going out and I will keep inviting girls over. Either I go insane and they lock me up or I get through this sticking point and never have to deal with escalation at my place.
