Teasing girls is fun. It's also attractive because it demonstrates that she knows you don't idolize her or put her on a pedestal. Women like when a man treats her like a person, not some angel.

There right now!
Ouch, I'm sure we all wanted to yell at the guy to stop. I've been there so many times though.
IN FACT!!! I just not one full hour before reading this ran into the exact same situation, but thankfully I did the right thing. This really cool and cute girl I met. We were going to meet for drinks, but she texted me 2 days prior saying an emergency came up with some event she was working on and had to go to Europe for some conference, can we move it to next week? I said sure.
Then the day of the date, 5 hours before it's supposed to happen, I get this:
Her: Hey, on a scale of 1-10 how much would you hate me if I said I had to work late tonight and couldn't make it? It's been a crazy day at work it's normally like this for me. This weekend I have to go to Spain for another conference but when I get back next week I would love to get drinks with you.
Now, in 99% of cases I would delete the number and not answer if a girl canceled twice. But in this case:
1. She was very cool & cute.
2. At least the first time she let me know ahead of time. 9 times out of 10 they flakes cancel last minute.
3. She put in some effort and apology in the second cancellation, and immediately came back with a counter offer on much much she wanted to meet. That's the primary sign of a true flaker to me: the lack of a counter offer.
So I texted this back:
Me: You seem really cool and fun to hang out with but it's tough to plan when you're jetsetting around Europe 6 days a week
Not the best response. I was TRYING to do a humorous dig at her while at the same time giving a compliment on her worldly travels, but yeah a lot of humor doesn't translate through text so I get this.
Her: That's understandable. I totally get why someone wouldn't be cool with that. I'm sorry for all the trouble.
My mind went through a bunch of witty comebacks but I realized it was time to cut to the shit and just be straight forward with a closer.
Me: Sorry, that sounded different from what I meant. That's why I prefer live conversation to texting. I would love to meet up when you get back. How's Wednesday at 7 at (place)?
Her: Sounds great! Looking forward to it!
and that's it. Know when to drop the cutesy teasing after the opener and don't linger too long before sealing the date and signing off.
Does this mean anything?
Hector, great collection of videos and articles you have on this site! Just wish i had all this insight years ago.
So, I'm a beginner, digging this girl, shes always very warm with me - initiating hugs and amazing smile...recently got her number and said we should meet for coffee...texted to set up a time/day to meet...her response was that she's busy through the holidays (works make up stand at dept store) but "maybe after the holidays we can get together for lunch or something?!" Is she blowing me off? And if not, do I read anything into the "or something" part or is that just nothing?
Also, do you do private phone coaching sessions?
Much thanks!
