No matter how incredible a girl is or how good the connection is, there are always things she\u2019s missing that other past girls have had, or other potential future girls might have. She can be 98% of what you want but you\u2019re still going, \u201cHmm, she\u2019s great. But it\u2019d be nice to have a girl who has X thing of the 2% she doesn\u2019t have.\u201d\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EIt\u2019s probably not politically correct to say it but I\u2019m pretty sure at this point that the drive to \u201cgive your heart\u201d to someone comes from scarcity. When I look back at every past girlfriend I\u2019ve had, even soul mate quality ones, the thing I say now is, \u201cWhat exactly would the benefit to me be of doing that?\u201d and I can\u2019t really come up with an answer. Seems like a distraction from other (to\u00a0my mind nobler)\u00a0pursuits.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EAs for my goals and objectives, well, I think I alluded to it in the purpose article (or maybe it was another?), but I have a bunch of stacked ones. From my study of accomplished men, it seems every man who accomplishes anything has a series of stacked goals, where getting to one requires completing another first. In this way the earlier goals, which might be unachievable lifelong goals for some men, end up being necessary early steps the guy HAS to vault through to get to later, even tougher goals.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003ESo I have a bunch of increasingly ridiculous goals that aren\u2019t even worth writing out in public because of how unbelievable they\u2019d sound (or how insane they\u2019d make me sound). But I can just say the next one is $20 million in the bank so I can focus on starting a billion-dollar infrastructure business. If you look at many really giant companies, they focus on providing infrastructure that others then use: railroads (people transport on them), airplanes (ditto), banks (people put their money into \/ take loans out through them), social media companies (people just post all their info there for others to see), online brokerages, etc. Something like Girls Chase \u2014 a content-based self-help business \u2014 has hard limitations to how big it can get. Most people don\u2019t want to be taught self-help. There\u2019s only so much content I can produce, too. In this space, what guys would really want is for you to just hand them girls, but of course I can\u2019t do that. If you want a really big business, the surest shot is building an infrastructure that people very much need and that once they\u2019re using it\u2019s hard for them to switch away from.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003ESo that\u2019s the near-term goal. And I don\u2019t really care about money for money\u2019s sake, I should add\u2026 I live a fairly Spartan life, get by on minimal amounts of money each year, and am probably more comfortable with dirt, grime, and discomfort than the vast majority of Westerns (and I grew up in a clean-freak super-neat household). I like helping people. Everything I do needs to have that element. But for the things I want to do, I also need resources to accomplish them. I also want control of them, which rules out having too many investors. Investors just want to turn a profit. I have other objectives.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThen I have backup goals, contingencies, in case I fail. There\u2019s definitely the \u201cburn all your boats\u201d strategy, where you\u2019ve got this one burning goal. But since I don\u2019t really care about money very much, it\u2019s hard to get as fully into a \u201cget XYZ amount of money\u201d goal as probably some guys could.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EAnd then on top of it all, all these goals I have are really just fun things I\u2019m shooting for to my occupy my time on this globe and push me to keep developing myself and contributing to things. I\u2019m not really sure exactly what the actual end purpose is. It feels like something programmed into me at a level lower than conscious awareness. We\u2019d need to get into philosophy, spirituality, early childhood influences, genetics\/biology, etc., to delve into that \u2014 but even then, it\u2019s really a \u201cWho knows?\u201d type of thing. Could be there for any reason.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EI definitely didn\u2019t have all these objectives when I was younger. I just had a feeling that I needed to do some kind of great thing.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003ENow as I get older, it feels like I have done some reasonably impressive things, I suppose. I built a website that\u2019s attracted 56 million visitors and been among the top 20,000 most-visited websites in the world. I\u2019ve had (probably tens of) thousands of men tell me I changed their lives, saved their lives, got them girlfriends, marriages, children, jobs, promotions, friends, taught them how to be men, even helped them earn their fortunes, all manner of things. I have my own personal achievements outside of GC that are meaningful to me. But it feels like the clock is ticking and I\u2019m still too close to the start line and too far from the finish line.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EBut yeah.
