remember in middle school and high school where I went if you tried to talk to cute girls as a kid who wasn\u0026#039;t already socially respected and if you got rejected kids would make fun of you for that. This was dumb high school behavior ,but idk if this kind of thing was unique to my school. This  actually discouraged me from trying to trying new things like, socialize heavy or flirt with some girls that I wasn\u0026#039;t already known to. This is where I really grew to have a fear of social consequences and why years later down the line in social circle I was still afraid to make moves on girls,act flirty and pull the trigger. I think in the retail job I had the guys who weren\u0026#039;t good with girls and just smoked weed and played videogames these guys would solely stick to their groups they think being social and going up to strangers is weird.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EI remember being invited out to this bar with a couple friends I was close with and one of their friends and the majority of the time I was there I didn\u0026#039;t speak that much. There was a hot white bartender there and I didn\u0026#039;t really engage with her or anyone else. She just observed that I was unusually awkwardly quite and did her bartending work. I always had this aversion to socializing unless it was easy and predictable because i\u0026#039;m introverted and it feels like I have to burn energy to make myself and outgoing guy. I always try to predict and anticipate if things will go well and if I can\u0026#039;t foresee that then it prevents me from trying. This includes cold approaching as well. I haven\u0026#039;t gone out to many bars by myself specifically to meet girls,but when I did I was nervous to chat up girls who were talking to another guy or were near another guy. I\u0026#039;d be worried they were together or the guy would roast me whether he\u0026#039;s her bf or just her friend hoping to bang her like it was hs all over again. Is there a mindset shift to get over the fear of social consequences? I feel this almost anywhere with attractive girls present like I need to be this funny,interesting guy all the time or be categorized as a weirdo.
