The seduction community attracts relationship failures. They have inferiority complexes and then you supercharge them with tricks for building attraction, comfort, and trust. They associate getting laid with their worth as a person, so they mechanically apply the techniques they\u0027ve learned with very little emotional investment. They\u0027re just learning a skill. It doesn\u0027t take a crystal ball to see the trail of disillusionment and sense of betrayal that they\u0027ll leave in the their path.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EA lot of men have destructive patterns like this, at least for some period in their lives. The community is just a place where guys with the character defect tend to go to find the skills that let them realize such a destructive pattern. And they tend to do that before they develop the character that will let that be a fulfilling part of their life for them and whoever they share it with.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EWhat happened with the community is that all of these similarly deficient guys started finding each other and focusing just on what it took to sleep with women. Worse was when marketers realized that they had a gold mine of guys with the exact same powerful selling point who were organizing themselves and they were desperate for solutions.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EI think that you\u0027re in a great position to do something better. First of all, you seem legit. You know all of the technical stuff and you\u0027re an excellent communicator. You also have shown that you\u0027re a very balanced and growth oriented person by the way that you responded to the comment. There\u0027s a lot of negativity and cynicism and openly manipulative tactics that are bandied about within it, and I don\u0027t blame a lot of people for being turned off by that.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EIt\u0027s \u003Ci\u003Efairly\u003C\/i\u003E natural for men ending up in the pick up community to be cynical about women and dating, because of -- like you note -- the fact that most of the guys who are drawn to resources like these are guys who traditionally haven\u0027t had much (or any) luck with women in their lives. And people tend to come to resent the things they want but can\u0027t get.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EBut there\u0027s a discernible lack of positive stabilizing forces in the community, which is unfortunate. Even a lot of the guys who get success stay cynical, which seems to be because they\u0027ve figured out how to get girls in bed but they still don\u0027t really understand them and they still aren\u0027t able to hang onto women in the capacity they\u0027d like to in relationships. They also often learn, as you note, to bed women through gambits that have little to do with connecting on an interpersonal level, so it all feels like a hollow game instead of an enriching experience.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EI think the main reason you don\u0027t see more positive guys online is because they don\u0027t have much need for being there, and they end up drifting away. They come on for a while, spread some knowledge and good feeling, and then... fade out. A person with a go-getter and positive outlook sees things a lot differently though. Someone with a positive outlook, who is willing to improve themselves and their game views this as an opportunity. In order to view this as an opportunity though, they must have a better understanding of women. In particular, the fact that women want sex just as much as men do. Also, a lot (not all) of women don\u0027t know what they want, and when you ask them, they\u0027ll say one thing, when in actuality, they mean something completely different. Also, due to societal pressures, most women in the West attempt to appear as chaste and against sex. \u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E        Men with positive outlooks and who are determined to improve their game are willing to not just scratch the surface, but to look at every angle of a situation, and take corresponding action from there. Another point, if you think about it, if everyone in the \u0027seductive arts\u0027 was solely after a good time, there are prostitutes who fit the requirement, and they are obviously a lot easier to get with than a girl with decency, intelligence, and someone who ultimately adds value to your life in several ways. \u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E        I think it is important that people who want to improve themselves use all of the resources they can get, and take the advice from people who really know what they are talking about, such as yourself. Firstly, the woman is biologically created (99% of them) to want sex, so it\u0027s important to not take what they say so literally, and to focus on their actions. Essentially, I\u0027ll go on to say that seduction can even be doing a woman a favour! One must pull the wool from their eyes to understand a lot of how society influences people is deluded. I used to think of seduction as manipulation, but now I think of it as a skillset in relation to getting better with women, and I agree, the word \u0027seduction\u0027 doesn\u0027t really do justice to what you are actually teaching. Women find men who are trying to improve their game attractive, and quite exciting!
