Personally, I\u0027m in the same camp as you -\n\u0027bonders are better\u0027. I used to try to help my friends, many of whom\nare in the \u0027actors are better\u0027 camp, steer themselves toward bonder\ngirlfriends. I couldn\u0027t understand why these guys kept dumping bonder\ngirlfriends and laughing about how boring they were, then going for\nthese actor girlfriends who took them through these emotional roller\ncoasters. I know I certainly don\u0027t want an emotional roller coaster\nrelationship - but these guys can\u0027t live without it. Bonders will never\nbe better for them... They\u0027re just too tame. They need actors.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EYou can feel like these guys are \u0027wrong\u0027 or \u0027dumb\u0027 or \u0027idiots\u0027 or\n\u0027short-sighted\u0027. But they like what they like, and want what they want\n- just like you do. I could\u0027ve picked either side (\u0022Actors are better\u0022\nor \u0022Bonders are better\u0022) and had guys agreeing with me in the comments\nsection, and other guys disagreeing with me. Life isn\u0027t a college exam\n- there is no one right answer for everyone. Might make things simpler\nif there was! But a whole lot less interesting.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EIf we were sitting around having drinks and you were a student of\nmine who wanted to date actors, I\u0027d probably say, \u0022Dude... don\u0027t date\nthose girls. They\u0027ll ruin your life. Hook up with them, okay, sure...\nbut get a bonder girlfriend. She\u0027ll be way better for you, dude.\u0022 And\nyou\u0027d say yeah, maybe, and then go date actors anyway. And then\ncomplain to me later about how she cheated or lied to you or what have\nyou. This is just how it goes with\npeople. All you can do is give them the tools to do what they want,\nthen let them go. Few people are going to find the stuff on\nthis site is 100% a match for them. From my experience \u0026amp; a combo of my theory, aside from reputation\/people thinking of them, is that these kinds of girl act to be wanted\/desirable\/accepted but the mere act of acting makes that feeling of wanted\/desirable\/accepted diluted \u0026amp; less meaningful when they\u0027re with people. \u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EIt stems from an insecurity, trying to be an image\/someone who they think should be rather than who they are, to prove something, to be something else, etc. \u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EIt\u0027s a sometimes necessary but a demanding \u0026amp; overall long-term unfulfilling strategy. At least for garnering attention, it probably is -\nactors get a lot more attention than bonders do. So this is not\nnecessarily an incorrect read.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EThe best way to get away from being an actor is to cultivate an\nattractive genuine personality, where you have trained up your social\nskills and honed your image enough that you really can \u0027be yourself\u0027\nand it\u0027s captivating. Once you figure out mutual interests, you can talk about those - e.g., if you read this site, probably safe to say you like psychology... Most girls are armchair psychology students themselves. So you can discuss this topic with them as well.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EPersonally, I tend to date more talkative girls, since I\u0027m not someone with a large need to stir up conversation myself. When I date quiet girls, they don\u0027t talk and I don\u0027t talk and there\u0027s really not much more for us to do than shag.
