Never really understood the whole concept of \u0022breaking circle\u0022 fully and looking back at some situations I lost a few girls more than I would of liked too because of that. I can specifically remember one situation not to long ago, where I was about to invite a girl home and my best friend came in and started talking with me an asking if I was bringing this girl home to the after party. And eventually after about 20 seconds of talking with my best friend, the girl walked away and seemed disinterested. So, ya, took some good notes there! Some guys try to status jockey and start throwing out credentials and accomplishments as soon as the conversation kicks off, and rather than try to match them, usually you should just let them, be inquisitive, and ask questions about this and relate to them.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EIt\u2019s not always possible to get totally comfortable talking to another man, since some men come into a conversation with you focused on showing off to you, lecturing to you, or trying to educate you. Which if you let it go on too long is either a waste of your time, or even makes you look like a subordinate in front of other people.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EUnfortunately, men have agendas in conversation much more than women do, and are much more likely to try to drive the conversation.
